Abstract

Ganglioneuromas are neurogenic tumors those often originate from sympathetic gang-lion cells, and less frequently from the adrenal medulla and peripheral nerves. These tumors are slow-growing and have a more benign cha-racter compared to other cell types. The case of a 33-year-old male who presented with a 4x4 cm primary retroperitoneal ganglioneuroma is presented, and the relevant literature is revi-ewed.

Key Words: ganglioneuroma, retroperiton
